The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्गप्रारम्भकलना विभागो भुवनत्रये ।
कुलपर्वतसंस्थानं जम्बूद्वीपं पृथक्स्थितम् ॥ ४७ ॥

sargaprārambhakalanā vibhāgo bhuvanatraye |
kulaparvatasaṃsthānaṃ jambūdvīpaṃ pṛthaksthitam || 47 ||

It was after that, the Brahma thought of creating the worlds, and divided them into the three spheres of the upper, lower and the intermediate regions. He then settled the boundary mountains, and distinguished the Jambu Dvipa or the continent of Asia from the rest.
