The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.21.30

अनुत्पन्नदिवाधीशामशक्तशशिमण्डलाम् ।
अविभक्तदिवालोकां संस्मरामि धरामधः ॥ ३० ॥

anutpannadivādhīśāmaśaktaśaśimaṇḍalām |
avibhaktadivālokāṃ saṃsmarāmi dharāmadhaḥ || 30 ||

I remember a time when the lord of day said:—the sun was unproduced, and when the orb of the moon was not yet known, and when the earth under me was not divided by day and light, but was lighted by the light of this mount of Meru.
