The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगद्गलितमेर्वादि यात्येकार्णवतां यदा ।
वायवीं धारणां बद्ध्वा संप्लवेऽचलधीस्तदा ॥ १९ ॥

jagadgalitamervādi yātyekārṇavatāṃ yadā |
vāyavīṃ dhāraṇāṃ baddhvā saṃplave'caladhīstadā || 19 ||

When the earth with its mountains is dissolved into water, and presents the face of an universal ocean over its surface; it is then by virtue of the vayu mantra or my volatile power, that I keep myself aloft in the air.
