The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.21.14

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
कल्पान्तेषु महाबुद्धे वहत्सूत्पातवायुषु ।
प्रपतत्स्विन्दुभार्केषु कथं तिष्ठसि विज्वरः ॥ १४ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
kalpānteṣu mahābuddhe vahatsūtpātavāyuṣu |
prapatatsvindubhārkeṣu kathaṃ tiṣṭhasi vijvaraḥ || 14 ||

Vasishtha rejoined: But tell me, O Sagely bird! that has borne with the blasts of dissolution, how could you remain unhurt and unimpaired, when many a sun and moon and stars have fallen and faded away.
