The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रणामपूर्वं तत्रैतद्यथावत्तत्पितुर्वचः ।
मात्रे च भगवत्यै च ब्राह्म्यै चाशु निवेदितम् ॥ ४६ ॥

praṇāmapūrvaṃ tatraitadyathāvattatpiturvacaḥ |
mātre ca bhagavatyai ca brāhmyai cāśu niveditam || 46 ||

There we bowed down to the goddess Brahmi, and our mother (the goose) which was her vehicle; and related in length to them the behest of our father unto us.
