The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.19.21

संशान्तमनसः शान्ता एकान्ते ध्यानसंस्थितौ ।
तिष्ठाम इति निश्चित्य पितुः पार्श्वे वयं गताः ॥ २१ ॥

saṃśāntamanasaḥ śāntā ekānte dhyānasaṃsthitau |
tiṣṭhāma iti niścitya pituḥ pārśve vayaṃ gatāḥ || 21 ||

Thought in ourselves of remaining in peace, and in the tranquillity of our minds;and being determined to betake ourselves to solitary contemplation, we went to our sire the old crow Chanda for his advice.
