The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सुधाकरसुधाधीतं नीलनीरदपल्लवम् ।
तारकाबिन्दुशबलं यस्य चाम्वरमम्बरम् ॥ ८ ॥

sudhākarasudhādhītaṃ nīlanīradapallavam |
tārakābinduśabalaṃ yasya cāmvaramambaram || 8 ||

His vest is the open sky with its plates of folded clouds, which are washed by the milk white beam of the moon, and studded with the variegated spots of the stars.
