The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हिमहारसिता यस्य लहरीस्तबकोम्भिता ।
आवेष्टितजटालूटा गङ्गाकुसुममालिका ॥ ३ ॥

himahārasitā yasya laharīstabakombhitā |
āveṣṭitajaṭālūṭā gaṅgākusumamālikā || 3 ||

The hoary locks of hair on the braided head of Hara, were entwined as with a white lace, by the snow white stream of Ganges, whose billows and waves as clusters of flowers on the hair-band.
