The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भुशुण्ड उवाच ।
अस्त्यस्मिञ्जगति श्रेष्ठः सर्वनाकनिवासिनाम् ।
देवदेवो हरो नाम देवदेवाभिवन्दितः ॥ १ ॥

bhuśuṇḍa uvāca |
astyasmiñjagati śreṣṭhaḥ sarvanākanivāsinām |
devadevo haro nāma devadevābhivanditaḥ || 1 ||
