The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्निग्धगम्भीरवचनः स्मितपूर्वाभिभाषणः ।
करस्थबिल्वफलवत्प्रतोलितजगत्त्रयः ॥ २ ॥

snigdhagambhīravacanaḥ smitapūrvābhibhāṣaṇaḥ |
karasthabilvaphalavatpratolitajagattrayaḥ || 2 ||

His voice was grave and mild, and his words were accompanied by a gentle smile, and he spoke of the three worlds, as if he balanced three beal fruits in his hands.
