The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.16.18

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
विहंगम महाराज सत्यमेतत्त्वयोच्यते ।
द्रष्टुमभ्यागतोऽस्म्यद्य त्वामेव चिरजीवितम् ॥ १८ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
vihaṃgama mahārāja satyametattvayocyate |
draṣṭumabhyāgato'smyadya tvāmeva cirajīvitam || 18 ||

Vasishtha answered said:—Yes, O king of birds! it is true as thou sayst, that I have come here thus to see thy diuturnal self;
