The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.16.4

पत्रपुञ्जात्समुत्तस्थौ मेघशाव इवाचलात् ।
हे मुने स्वागतमिति प्रोवाच मधुराक्षरम् ॥ ४ ॥

patrapuñjātsamuttasthau meghaśāva ivācalāt |
he mune svāgatamiti provāca madhurākṣaram || 4 ||

He then rose from his leafy seat, and advancing slowly before me, he said with sweet sounds distilling as honey. I welcome thee great sage to my humble cell.
