The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्वितुण्डांश्च भरद्वाजान्हेमचूडान्विहंगमान् ।
कलविङ्कबलान्गृध्रान्कोकिलान्क्रौञ्चकुक्कुटान् ॥ २१ ॥

dvituṇḍāṃśca bharadvājānhemacūḍānvihaṃgamān |
kalaviṅkabalāngṛdhrānkokilānkrauñcakukkuṭān || 21 ||

I saw the Bharadwaja and I saw there many other kinds of big birds. (Charui, birds with two mouths and gold finches with their golden crests). I saw also kalavinca sparrows, the little cranes and pelicans and cuckoos and vultures likewise and cranes and cocks.
