223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.14.10

स दीर्घायुः स नीरागः स श्रीमान्स महामतिः ।
स विश्रान्तमतिः शान्तः स कान्तः कालकोविदः ॥ १० ॥

sa dīrghāyuḥ sa nīrāgaḥ sa śrīmānsa mahāmatiḥ |
sa viśrāntamatiḥ śāntaḥ sa kāntaḥ kālakovidaḥ || 10 ||

This crony crow was beauteous even in old age, and had become passionless and great-minded by his long experience. He remained quiet with the tranquillity of his mind, and was as graceful as he was full of knowledge of all times.
