The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.12.17

ते हि केवलमव्यग्राः कुर्वन्तः काममञ्जरीः ।
इष्टानिष्टफलं राम नाभिलेषुर्न तत्यजुः ॥ १७ ॥

te hi kevalamavyagrāḥ kurvantaḥ kāmamañjarīḥ |
iṣṭāniṣṭaphalaṃ rāma nābhileṣurna tatyajuḥ || 17 ||

They are employed calmly and without anxiety in the discharge of their duties and in the acts of fruition karma, and neither long for nor relinquish the fruition, which is attendant upon them.
