The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.12.14

न ममज्जुः क्वचिदपि संकटेषु महत्स्वपि ।
महदप्युपयातेषु कुलशलाः सरस्स्विव ॥ १४ ॥

na mamajjuḥ kvacidapi saṃkaṭeṣu mahatsvapi |
mahadapyupayāteṣu kulaśalāḥ sarassviva || 14 ||

They are never immerged in great dangers, nor are they ever involved in very great difficulties. But remain as the boundary mountains, remaining unimmersed amidst the water of a circumjacent lake.
