The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रक्तमांसास्थियन्त्रेऽस्मिन्कः स्यामहमिति स्वयम् ।
यावद्विचार्यते तावत्सर्वमाशु विलीयते ॥ ३९ ॥
raktamāṃsāsthiyantre'sminkaḥ syāmahamiti svayam |
yāvadvicāryate tāvatsarvamāśu vilīyate || 39 ||
He who stoops to consider whether the flesh or blood or bones of his bodily frame, constitutes his personality, will at once perceive that he is none of these, and all these are distinct from himself.
