Verse 6.10.8

कोशकारवदात्मानं वासनातनुतन्तुभिः ।
वेष्टयच्चैव चेतोऽन्तर्बालत्वान्नावबुध्यते ॥ ८ ॥

kośakāravadātmānaṃ vāsanātanutantubhiḥ |
veṣṭayaccaiva ceto'ntarbālatvānnāvabudhyate || 8 ||

The mind wraps the inward soul with the coverlet of its various desires, as the silkworm twines the thin thread of its desires round about itself; which its wants of reason prevent it from understanding.
