The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.9.14

यावद्देहं महात्मानो जीवन्मुक्ता व्यवस्थिताः ।
विदेहमुक्ता देहान्ते स्थास्यन्ति परमेश्वरे ॥ १४ ॥

yāvaddehaṃ mahātmāno jīvanmuktā vyavasthitāḥ |
videhamuktā dehānte sthāsyanti parameśvare || 14 ||

Great souls remain liberated, as long as they continue to live in their mortal bodies; and after the shuffling of their frail bodies, they become free as their disembodied spirits; and then reside in the supreme spirit.
