रागद्वेषसमुत्थेन भावाभावमयेन च ।
जरामरणरोगेण जीर्णा जङ्गमजातयः ॥ ४७ ॥

rāgadveṣasamutthena bhāvābhāvamayena ca |
jarāmaraṇarogeṇa jīrṇā jaṅgamajātayaḥ || 47 ||

How these moving creatures are subject every moment, to the recurrent emotions of passions and affections, and to the alterations of affluence and want; and how they are incessantly decaying under age and infirmity, disease and death from which their souls are entirely free.
