The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शतशो विद्रुतारिध्रैर्दनुपुत्रैरमिष्टुताम् ।
भवभग्नतयामैन्द्रीं तनुं वहति वासना ॥ ३८ ॥

śataśo vidrutāridhrairdanuputrairamiṣṭutām |
bhavabhagnatayāmaindrīṃ tanuṃ vahati vāsanā || 38 ||

Human desire bears the invulnerable body of the Jove and Indra, which being wounded on all sides by the Titans of disappointment, resumed fresh vigour at every stroke.
