The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.7.36

भावाभावैरपर्यन्तैः सुखदुःखदशाशतैः ।
वैपरीत्यं प्रयात्येवमजस्त्रं जागती स्थितिः ॥ ३६ ॥

bhāvābhāvairaparyantaiḥ sukhaduḥkhadaśāśataiḥ |
vaiparītyaṃ prayātyevamajastraṃ jāgatī sthitiḥ || 36 ||

All worldly things are undergoing incessant changes, by their appearance and disappearance by turns; and the vicissitudes of our states and circumstances, from these of pleasure and prosperity to the state of pain and misery and vice versa, in endless succession.
