The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असंख्यातानि कल्पानि संजातान्यचले पदे ।
जगज्जङ्गलजालानि दग्धानि युगवह्निना ॥ ३५ ॥

asaṃkhyātāni kalpāni saṃjātānyacale pade |
jagajjaṅgalajālāni dagdhāni yugavahninā || 35 ||

Innumerable kalpa ages have been incessantly rolling on, over the shady quiescence of eternity;and multitudes of created worlds have been burnt down, like thick woods and forests, by the all desolating conflagrations of desolation.
