The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.6.24

यत्र तत्रोदिताक्रान्ता रटन्ति प्रस्फुरन्ति च ।
तृणकाष्ठादिकं सर्वमाहरन्ति त्यजन्ति च ॥ २४ ॥

yatra tatroditākrāntā raṭanti prasphuranti ca |
tṛṇakāṣṭhādikaṃ sarvamāharanti tyajanti ca || 24 ||

The unintelligent body and limbs, are actuated to perform and display their several acts, by action of the vital breath; as the vacillation of the insensible trees and leaves, is caused by the motion of the breeze; and both of them cease to move, no sooner the current airs cease to agitate them.
