The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सद्ब्रह्म नासद्भवति विचित्रास्वपि दृष्टिषु ।
मनागपि न संश्लेषः सर्वगस्यापि देहिनः ॥ १३ ॥

sadbrahma nāsadbhavati vicitrāsvapi dṛṣṭiṣu |
manāgapi na saṃśleṣaḥ sarvagasyāpi dehinaḥ || 13 ||

The unbodied soul presides over all bodies, without its adherence to any; as the omnipresent spirit of Brahma, pervades throughout all nature, without coalescing with any visible object.
