The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.4.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
मनो बुद्धिरहंकार इन्द्रियादि तथानघ ।
अचेत्यचिन्मयं सर्वं क्व ते जीवादयः स्थिताः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
mano buddhirahaṃkāra indriyādi tathānagha |
acetyacinmayaṃ sarvaṃ kva te jīvādayaḥ sthitāḥ || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—Rama! knowing your mind, understanding, egoism and all your senses, to be insensible of themselves, and deriving their sensibility from the intellect; say how can your living soul and the vital breaths, have any sensation of their own.
