The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शान्ता व्यवहरन्तोऽपि सत्त्वस्थाः संयतेन्द्रियाः ।
नित्यं पश्यन्ति तज्जयोतिर्न द्वैतैक्येन वासना ॥ ४५ ॥

śāntā vyavaharanto'pi sattvasthāḥ saṃyatendriyāḥ |
nityaṃ paśyanti tajjayotirna dvaitaikyena vāsanā || 45 ||

They are calm and cold with all their actions and in all their dealings; they have the members of their bodies and their senses under full control, and know no desire nor duality.
