The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.2.14

तरसैवोदितेष्वाशु श्रोतुमभ्यागतेष्विव ।
गवाक्षादिव जालेषु प्रविष्टेष्वर्करश्मिषु ॥ १४ ॥

tarasaivoditeṣvāśu śrotumabhyāgateṣviva |
gavākṣādiva jāleṣu praviṣṭeṣvarkaraśmiṣu || 14 ||

The sun-beams appearing through the chinks in the windows, seemed to be waiting in order to join the audience, and to listen to the lectures of the Sage.
