The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सम्यग्ज्ञानसमालोकः पुमान्ज्ञेयमयः स्वयम् भवत्यापीतमैरेयः सदा मदमयो यथा ॥ २२ ॥

samyagjñānasamālokaḥ pumānjñeyamayaḥ svayam bhavatyāpītamaireyaḥ sadā madamayo yathā || 22 ||

The man knowing all knowledge, becomes full of knowledge; as the strong dramdrinker turns a tippler himself.
