The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सम्यग्विचारिणं प्राज्ञं यथाभूतावलोकिनम् ।
आसादयन्त्यपि स्फारा नाविद्याविभवा भृशम् ॥ ४ ॥

samyagvicāriṇaṃ prājñaṃ yathābhūtāvalokinam |
āsādayantyapi sphārā nāvidyāvibhavā bhṛśam || 4 ||

The rational man who becomes wise, by his vast observation of the past and present, is never tempted by the influence of the ignorant, who value their wealth above their knowledge.
