The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मुग्धमुग्धधियो भीता वराका हरिणा इव ।
मतिरालूनशीर्णाङ्गी तदीया पेलवाङ्गिका ॥ ४२ ॥

mugdhamugdhadhiyo bhītā varākā hariṇā iva |
matirālūnaśīrṇāṅgī tadīyā pelavāṅgikā || 42 ||

Ignorant men who are infatuated in their understandings, are timid cowards like timorous stags; and are both dull-headed and weak-bodied, and languid in their limbs.
