The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संवेद्ये केवले ध्यानं न संभवति राघव ।
सर्वत्र संभवादस्याः संवित्तेरेव सर्वदा ॥ ७ ॥

saṃvedye kevale dhyānaṃ na saṃbhavati rāghava |
sarvatra saṃbhavādasyāḥ saṃvittereva sarvadā || 7 ||

It is not possible, O Rama! to know the knowable Spirit at once in your understanding, unless you think of it continually in your consciousness.
