The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तेजसामपि तत्तेजस्तमसामपि तत्तमः ।
वस्तूनामपि तद्वस्तु दिशामप्यङ्ग दिक्परा ॥ ११९ ॥

tejasāmapi tattejastamasāmapi tattamaḥ |
vastūnāmapi tadvastu diśāmapyaṅga dikparā || 119 ||

He is brighter far than the brightest, and obscurer than the darkest things; He is the substratum of all substances, and farthest from all the sides of the compass.
