The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कालसत्ता स्वसत्ता च प्रोन्मुक्तकलना सती ।
यद्यप्युत्तमसद्रूपा तथाप्येषा न वास्तवी ॥ १०६ ॥

kālasattā svasattā ca pronmuktakalanā satī |
yadyapyuttamasadrūpā tathāpyeṣā na vāstavī || 106 ||

Though the endless duration of time, approximates to the nature of the Infinite Existence; yet its divisions into the present, past and future, makes it an ununiform and unreal entity.
