The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगज्जलधिजालानां संविज्जलमलं गता ।
एषैवापूर्वदिक्चक्रं स्फुरत्यद्व्यादितां गता ॥ ९४ ॥

jagajjaladhijālānāṃ saṃvijjalamalaṃ gatā |
eṣaivāpūrvadikcakraṃ sphuratyadvyāditāṃ gatā || 94 ||

Our consciousness is as the water in the great deep of the universe, encompassing all the four quarters of the world, and the huge mountains within it.
