The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.90.27

न तेजो न तमः किंचिन्न संध्या दिनरात्रयः ।
न दिशो न च वाकाशो नाधो नानर्थरूपता ॥ २७ ॥

na tejo na tamaḥ kiṃcinna saṃdhyā dinarātrayaḥ |
na diśo na ca vākāśo nādho nānartharūpatā || 27 ||

It has no sense of light or darkness, nor the perception of day and night; it has no knowledge of space and sky, nor of the sides, altitude or depth of the firmament.
