The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मैत्र्यादिभिर्गुणैर्युक्तं भवत्युत्तमवासनम् ।
भूयो जन्मविनिर्मुक्तं जीवन्मुक्तमनोऽनघ ॥ १८ ॥

maitryādibhirguṇairyuktaṃ bhavatyuttamavāsanam |
bhūyo janmavinirmuktaṃ jīvanmuktamano'nagha || 18 ||

The mind that is fraught with the benevolent qualities, has its best wishes for all living beings in nature;it is freed from the pains of repeated births in this world of woe, and is called the living liberated mind.
