The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.90.11

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
चेतसः कथिता सत्ता मया रघुकुलोद्वह ।
अस्य नाशमिदानीं त्वं श्रृणु प्रश्नविदां वर ॥ ११ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
cetasaḥ kathitā sattā mayā raghukulodvaha |
asya nāśamidānīṃ tvaṃ śrṛṇu praśnavidāṃ vara || 11 ||

Vasishtha replied:—O support of Raghu's race! I have told you before of the nature of the mind; and you will hear now, O best of inquirers! the manner of extinguishing its impulses.
