The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथोदेति च यस्येच्छा स तया यतते तथा ।
यथाकालं तदाप्नोति ज्ञो वाप्यज्ञतरोऽपि वा ॥ ३४ ॥

yathodeti ca yasyecchā sa tayā yatate tathā |
yathākālaṃ tadāpnoti jño vāpyajñataro'pi vā || 34 ||

Every one endeavours to present in the course, to which he is led by the desires rising in his heart; and whether he is learned or not, he reaps the reward of his endeavours in due time.
