The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथा स्वभाववशतो द्रव्यकालक्रियाक्रमाः ।
नियतं साधयन्त्याशु प्रयोगं युक्तियोजिताः ॥ २९ ॥

tathā svabhāvavaśato dravyakālakriyākramāḥ |
niyataṃ sādhayantyāśu prayogaṃ yuktiyojitāḥ || 29 ||

Thus all things have naturally the power of producing some effect, according to its proper application and the mode and manner of it.
