The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नित्यतृप्तः प्रशान्तात्मा वीतरागो विवासनः ।
आकाशसदृशाकारस्तज्ज्ञ आत्मनि तिष्ठति ॥ १९ ॥

nityatṛptaḥ praśāntātmā vītarāgo vivāsanaḥ |
ākāśasadṛśākārastajjña ātmani tiṣṭhati || 19 ||

He is ever content and quiet in his soul, and is devoid of desires and affections in his mind; he is of the form of empty air, and remains with his spiritual knowledge as the idol of his soul.
