The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निमेषार्धार्धभागेन कालेन कलनां प्रभुः ।
जहौ चितश्चेत्यदशां स्पन्दशक्तिमिवानिलः ॥ १२ ॥

nimeṣārdhārdhabhāgena kālena kalanāṃ prabhuḥ |
jahau citaścetyadaśāṃ spandaśaktimivānilaḥ || 12 ||

It was in a twinkling or half of that time, that this sedate sage stopped the course of his thought, as the current wind stops its motion in a moment.
