The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

येन विस्मारितस्तस्मै सुखायास्तु नमो नमः ।
त्वदुत्तप्तेन हे दुःख मयात्मान्विष्ट आदरात् ॥ ३२ ॥

yena vismāritastasmai sukhāyāstu namo namaḥ |
tvaduttaptena he duḥkha mayātmānviṣṭa ādarāt || 32 ||

I hail thee, O spiritual delight, that madest me forget my past pleasures; and I thank you ye pains! that have led me to the inquiry of the soul with so much ardour.
