The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गच्छतस्तिष्ठतश्चैव तस्यैवमभवद्धृदि ।
विनोदाय विचित्तस्य कथा स्वमनसा सह ॥ १२ ॥

gacchatastiṣṭhataścaiva tasyaivamabhavaddhṛdi |
vinodāya vicittasya kathā svamanasā saha || 12 ||

Behold! he said to his mind, O lord of my senses! the unsullied and undecaying joy that thou dost enjoy in the tranquillity; and say if there is a greater felicity than this to be found on earth.
