The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विषपर्यवसानेयं रसायनवदुत्थिता ।
भोक्तताकर्तृताशङ्का बत चित्त मुधैव हि ॥ ३१ ॥

viṣaparyavasāneyaṃ rasāyanavadutthitā |
bhoktatākartṛtāśaṅkā bata citta mudhaiva hi || 31 ||

The impression of the activity and passivity of the mind is as wrong, as the belief of poison and nectar to be the one and same thing; since the two opposites can never meet together.
