The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विगतमानमदा मुदिताशयाः शरदुपोढशशांकसमत्विषः ।
प्रकृतसंव्यवहारविहारिणस्त्विह सुखं विहरन्ति महाधियः ॥ १९ ॥

vigatamānamadā muditāśayāḥ śaradupoḍhaśaśāṃkasamatviṣaḥ |
prakṛtasaṃvyavahāravihāriṇastviha sukhaṃ viharanti mahādhiyaḥ || 19 ||

So do all great minded men gladly pass their lives, in the discharge of their respective duties, without being elated by pride or the giddiness of vanity; but manage themselves with a cheerfulness resembling the gentle beams of the autumnal moon.
