The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहमादिरहं धाता चिदहं भुवनान्यहम् ।
मम नास्ति व्यवच्छेदो मह्यमेव नमो नमः ॥ ४४ ॥

ahamādirahaṃ dhātā cidahaṃ bhuvanānyaham |
mama nāsti vyavacchedo mahyameva namo namaḥ || 44 ||

The ego is the first cause and support of all, it is the intellect and the soul of all worlds. It is the whole without parts; I therefore bow down to that ego.
