The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जडे प्रेतसमाकारे गते त्वयि मनःशठे ।
सर्वसज्जनसंसेव्यमिदं देहगृहं मम ॥ २४ ॥

jaḍe pretasamākāre gate tvayi manaḥśaṭhe |
sarvasajjanasaṃsevyamidaṃ dehagṛhaṃ mama || 24 ||

Thou liest as dull as dead body at the door of this bodily mansion, against the entrance of my worshipped guests (of good virtues) to it.
