The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आमूलान्मनसि क्षीणे संकल्पस्य कथा च का ।
तिलेष्विवातिदग्धेषु तैलस्य कलना कुतः ॥ ४३ ॥

āmūlānmanasi kṣīṇe saṃkalpasya kathā ca kā |
tileṣvivātidagdheṣu tailasya kalanā kutaḥ || 43 ||

The mind being weakened, its desires will be wasted also; as the sesamum seeds being burnt, will leave no oil behind.
