स तिष्ठन्नपि कार्येषु देशकालक्रियाक्रमैः ।
न कार्यसुखदुःखाभ्यां मनागपि हि गृह्यते ॥ २६ ॥

sa tiṣṭhannapi kāryeṣu deśakālakriyākramaiḥ |
na kāryasukhaduḥkhābhyāṃ manāgapi hi gṛhyate || 26 ||

So a man doing his duty by habit or compulsion, is not sensible of any pain or pleasure that he derives from it.
